Promises

Every year as the seasons change I am struck with the Biblical passage found in Genesis 8:22,
"As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night (New Living Translation)."
This year there was plenty of cold and snow.  It seemed like spring would never come.  Well, better late then never.  Spring has finally arrived.  Nothing like the sight of trees budding and flowers blooming.

Now we are dealing with rain and more rain.  The farmers are waiting to get into their fields.
Before we know it, summer will be here.  Just incase, summer decides to come early...my pool chair is already waiting.

The pool is getting there but is not quite ready and just a tad bit cold.  That hasn't stopped Jaelyn, Ava, and Natalie.  They have all had a quick dip into the frigid pool.

With that I will leave you.  Crazy, 2 posts in one day. Next time, I will fill you in on our trip to Boston over the Easter Weekend.

March Break

I am in the process of cleaning up my computer again.  I am low on space and that means I need to delete more pictures.  So while I am backing up 1000's of pictures onto 2 different external hard drives, I realized I missed posting our family trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tennessee during our March Break.
So for four of the past five years we travelled with parts of our extended family to Tennessee.  This year everyone with the except of Kyle and Melissa were able to travel with us.
The weather this year was cooler than it has been in the past.
Here are the highlights of our trip:
